# How to archive a brand

> **Archiving cannot be undone.** Most of your brand content is **removed**. **Tasks tied to that brand are kept.** You **cannot** bring that brand back. To track the same business again, create a **new brand**.


#### How to archive a brand

#### 

1. Open **Account Settings**.
2. Open [**Brand settings**](https://crowdreply.io/prompts?settings=brand) and select the brand.
3. Click **Archive brand**.
4. Read the on-screen warning, then confirm only if you want to continue.


#### Things to know

#### 
* After archiving, that brand **stops updating** for you.
* On plans with a **fixed number of brands**, archiving **frees one slot**.
