# How to create an API key?

You can generate your API key in just a few clicks from your CrowdReply account settings.

#### **Steps:**
1. Go to the Account Settings page on CrowdReply.
2. Select the [API option ](https://crowdreply.io/dashboard?settings=api)from the left menu.
3. Click the **Generate API Key** button.
4. Your new API key will appear in the field above.
5. (Optional) Click the copy icon to easily copy your API key for use in your integrations.
