# How to later edit a comment, reply or thread task?

If you need to update or modify something you previously posted through CrowdReply, you can submit an edit request directly from your dashboard.

Here’s how:
1. Go to **Task Tracking** → or visit:
👉 [**https://crowdreply.io/tasks**](https://crowdreply.io/tasks)
2. Search for the task ID you want to edit (comment, reply, or thread).
3. Click the **Edit Comment** icon (✏️) on the right side of the table where you see the three dots.
4. A popup will appear where you can enter your updated text.
5. Review the content and click **Submit edit request**.

### **Important Notes**
* Editing a live Reddit comment or post can sometimes lead to a removal since mods can see edited content on their end and are notified so make edits carefully.
* If removal happens after editing, it is **__not eligible for a refund__**__.__
* **If the Reddit account that posted the comment/thread has been banned or suspended, an edit request will not be possible**, as the account becomes inaccessible.
