# How to select AI models for a brand

Choose which AI models CrowdReply tracks for each brand. Your selection controls which platforms run your prompts and feed your visibility data.

#### How many models you can select

| Plan | Model limit |
| ---- |
| Starter | Up to **2** models |
| Growth | Up to **4** models |
| Enterprise | All **7** models |

**Grok** is available on the **Enterprise** plan only. On lower plans it appears locked with an upgrade prompt.

#### Select models when creating a brand

1. Start the brand creation flow from **Account Settings** → **Your Brand** → **Add brand**, or from the brand selector in the sidebar → [**Add brand**](https://crowdreply.io/dashboard?checklist=1&settings=brand).
2. Complete **Step 1** (brand name and website) and **Step 2** (competitors).
3. On **Step 3: Select AI models**, click the models you want to track.
4. Select at least **1** model, then click **Continue**.
5. Finish **Step 4** (prompts) and click **Activate brand**.

#### Change models for an existing brand

1. Open **Account Settings** → **Your Brand**.
2. Select the brand you want to update.
3. Scroll to **Select AI models**.
4. Click a model chip to select or deselect it. The counter shows how many you have selected vs your plan limit (for example, `2/2`).
5. Click **Save changes** in the top bar.

#### If you hit your plan limit

When you try to add more models than your plan allows, CrowdReply shows **Unlock More AI Models**. You can:

* Click **Upgrade plan** to open **Billing** and move to a higher tier, or
* Click **Manage models**, deselect a model you no longer need, then select a different one.

#### Good to know

* **Each brand has its own model selection.** Changing models for one brand does not affect your other brands.
* **Only the workspace owner** can change AI models in **Brand settings**. Team members with Editor or Viewer access can view the brand but cannot save model changes.
* **Deselecting a model** stops new tracking on that platform for the brand. Your dashboard filter (**Model Selector** on Overview) only shows models currently selected for the active brand.
* If you **downgrade your plan**, CrowdReply may pause models that exceed your new limit. Upgrade again or adjust your selection in **Brand settings** to restore tracking.
