# Why was my task cancelled?

A task may be cancelled by our team for a variety of reasons, usually related to Reddit’s rules or subreddit-specific limitations. Here are some of the most common reasons:

* **Banned Words or Phrases:**
The subreddit doesn’t allow certain words or phrases in comments, making it impossible to post your task as requested.
* **Character Limit:**
Your thread or comment exceeds Reddit’s character limit for that subreddit.
* **Image Required:**
The task only has a title and description while the subreddit or post type requires an image in order to publish.
* **Inactive or Restricted Subreddit:**
The subreddit is inactive, restricted, or requires manual approval to join before posting, making it impossible to complete the task right away.
* **Link Attachment Issues:**
The thread requires a link to be attached, but links aren’t allowed or aren’t supported in the current posting format.
* **Other Subreddit Rules:**
Each subreddit can have unique rules or limitations that might prevent your task from being completed.

**Note:**
These are just a few of the most common reasons. Subreddit rules can change or vary, so sometimes tasks are cancelled due to reasons not listed here.
