Restricted brand categories and refunds
We've restricted platform task posting for certain high-risk categories to keep our network safe and compliant. Here's what you need to know and what options you have.
What's changed for your brand
If your brand operates in one of our restricted categories, you can no longer post new tasks on Reddit. This applies to new tasks only; any in-progress tasks will continue to run under normal rules.
You'll get a 7-day grace period to plan your next steps. During this time, you can still post new tasks but once the grace period ends, new platform task posting will be blocked.
Why we're doing this
We maintain a list of restricted categories to comply with regulatory requirements and protect the integrity of our platform. This ensures better long-term value for all our users.
What categories are affected?
We currently restrict platform tasks for brands in these categories:
- Adult / NSFW / AI companion
- Engagement farming
- Gambling / casino / betting
- IPTV
- Piracy
- Forex / trading signals
- Payday / predatory lending
- Counterfeit / replicas
- AI undress / deepfake tools
Depending on your plan and brand status, monitoring and analytics may still be available.
What to do during your 7-day grace period
You have 7 days from when you receive notice to:
- Post any final platform tasks before the block takes effect
- Complete our alternatives questionnaire to find the best fit for your goals
- Contact support if you have questions about your brand status
After 7 days, new platform task posting will be blocked automatically.
Refund policy: get back unused credits
If you have unused credits, we've got you covered.
You'll receive:
- 100% refund on all unused credits
You won't receive a refund for:
- Credits already spent on tasks (consumed)
- Subscription time you've already used
To request a refund:
- Contact our support team at support@crowdreply.io
- Include your account email and brand name
- Our support agent will process your refund request
